The McGilvery Family
Larry is fond of saying we have been in the pinball business since day one, electronic.
That means a lot to our customers, since we have had experience with all the different systems the pinball manufacturers changed to as the technology advanced. We started out repairing games for operators, and then becoming operators ourselves. We branched out into retail by selling our "retired" stock to the public. As time has gone by our home sales have become the major part of our business, and we opened the showroom here in Lisle, Illinois.
We are still family owned and operated--from the person who greets you in our store, to the one who repairs your machines in the work shop and the individual who answers your e-mail in the office.
We still do things the old fashioned way. Every reconditioned game is as complete and original as we can make them. We treat our customers the way we would like to be treated ourselves, fairly and honestly.
Our expertise doesn't stop there---our Edison Phonographs are handled in the same manner, with attention paid to the most minute detail. Edison machines and lore have always been a fact of life for Larry -he grew up surrounded by cranks, reproducers and cylinders. His Dad still owns the very first Edison Phonograph that he ever bought, over 30 years ago. No restored Edison machine ever leaves our doors without looking and playing like it did when Thomas A. Edison was on the job!
